Sarah Elizabeth Mallory

Sarah Elizabeth (Laux) Mallory, of Petersburg, Michigan passed away, after a courageous battle with cancer, on Monday, July 18, 2011 in the comfort of her home with her family by her side.

Sarah recently celebrated her 40th birthday. She was born in Toledo on June 30, 1971 to Richard 'Rick' and Marietta (Sanderson) Laux.

In addition to her parents, Sarah's memory will live on in the hearts of her husband, Britt; children, Faith Elizabeth and Ian Marston; brother, John (Audrey) Laux and many friends.

Always a pillar of strength, Sarah's positive energy eased the sorrow of those around her. Her love for her family and friends kept her going and she never missed an opportunity to ask how they were holding up.

On behalf of Sarah and her loved ones, thank you for all of the support given by friends, family, and the community. The compassion of Heartland Hospice and the visiting nurses did not go unnoticed.

Visitation will be at the Reeb Funeral Home, 5712 N. Main St., Sylvania, on Friday, July 22, 2011 from 3-9 PM, where the funeral service will be held on Saturday, at 1 PM, Stuart Mahan officiating. Burial will follow at Association Cemetery.
