Andrzej and Natasza, I am deeply saddened to learn of your mom's passing. I last visited her 7 years ago at her home, the first time since your dad's funeral. I'll always remember your parents as wonderfully welcoming people. When I first started working with your dad for the Michigan Department of Agriculture, there was a blizzard on the night of my first day in the Detroit Region. I was to begin training with your dad the next day and stayed in Monroe after driving from the State Fair office. At the end of our first day together, he insisted that I stay at your home for the rest of the week, since I still had a week until my new apartment was available. That evening I met your wonderful mother for the first time (as well as 2 little Gomulinskis), and she treated me like part of the family. I've been sending her Christmas cards every year since. I was just getting ready to send her another, but decided to look her up on line since I hadn't received a card from her in a few years. That is when I found her obituary. I just want you to know that she holds a special place in my heart and I know that you and your families must miss her a lot. Had I known about her passing at the time, I most definitely would have made the effort to attend her funeral and convey my condolences in person. Wishing you all the best.

To Natasza and Andrzej and your families: I have wonderful memories of your mom (and dad) when we all attended St. John's Episcopal Church in Temperance, Mi. She was a warm and friendly woman; whom I enjoyed as a fellow parishioner. She was dedicated to both her Church and her family. Saying your goodbyes is not easy but she will always be there in your hearts.. Know that God, your dad and her parents are there to welcome her Home.
