William C. Reineck

April 25, 1941 – June 14, 2018

William “Bill” Reineck, 77, of Sylvania, OH, passed away unexpectedly at his home. He was born April 25, 1941 in Norwalk, OH to Paul Reineck and Bernadette Barman Reineck Meyer. After highschool, Bill enlisted as active duty in the United States Air Force from 1959 to 1963 at Nellis AFB in Las Vegas, NV. He transferred to the Air Force Reserve until 1965, when he was honorably discharged to start a family. He married Joan Pandolph in June 1965. Bill was a dedicated father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and friend. He was self-employed for many years as an Organ and Keyboard repairman.  He loved to go fishing, ride around on his zero turn mower, and spend time with family and friends.

Bill is survived by his daughter, Sandra (Michael) Laughlin; grandchildren, Brandon (Lisa Worden) Laughlin, Darrin (Holly) Laughlin, Cassandra (Benjamin) Pickett, and Larissa Laughlin; great-grandchildren, Samantha, Brian, Dylan, Brianna, Owen and Elizabeth. He is also survived by his brothers, Bob (Patricia) Meyer, Jerry Meyer, Dale (Susan) Meyer, and Chris (Julie) Meyer.

Bill is preceeded in death by his wife, Joan Reineck, his parents Paul and Bernadette, his step-father Raymond Meyer, and brother and sister-in-law Michael (Paula) Meyer.

A Memorial Celebration will be held on June 21, 2018 at 12:00 p.m. at the Ward Pavilion at Wildwood, 4830 W. Central Ave, Toledo, OH 43615. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Quarry Ridge Community Church, 9344 Rocky Water Court, Sylvania, OH 43560.
