Wanda was preceded in death by her loving husband of 62 years, Ralph Franks, as well as their son, William W. Franks, and grandson, Michael R. Franks. Also preceding Wanda in death are her parents, brothers; Gerald, Walter Jr., Donald, Ralph, Ned and Royce Welsh, and sisters; Geraldine Welch, Dorothy Morneweck, Joyce Wood, Josephine Thomas and Clementine Silcox.
Wanda is survived by her granddaughter and caregiver Christine Franks, great grandchildren, Erin, Nicholas and Jodi Franks, brother Fred Welsh, several nieces and nephews and daughter in laws, Gayle Weills and Diane Franks.
Wanda worked with her husband at Dana Corp for more than 19 years. They became members of the Point Place United Church of Christ in the 1960’s and they were avid golfers. Wanda proudly boasts 6 holes in one over the years. She was also a member of the Eastern Star for over 45 years. Wanda faithfully and lovingly cared for her husband Ralph and her sister Clementine until they passed on from this life.
