Walter Sycz Obituary

Walter Sycz passed in peace at Flower Hospital in Sylvania, Ohio on Saturday, November 17, 2018 at the age of 88. He was born in Cleveland, Ohio on May 13, 1930 to Anna and John Sycz. On April 19, 1958, he married Marilyn Pyle and they enjoyed 60 wonderful years together. In addition to his wife Marilyn, he is survived by daughters Denise (Steve) Nolder, Karen (Dan) Brickner, granddaughter Danielle Brickner, and step granddaughter, Allie Nolder. Walt will be fondly remembered as a loving and devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He was a tireless worker who built his own home, where he resided for many years. Walt had a keen eye for collectables and enjoyed his hobby of “flea-marketing” with his wife after his retirement in 1992. He had a kind and gentle heart and was a United States Army Veteran. Walt is preceded in death by brothers, Steve and Enhew Sycz, sister Ethel Moinette, and parents.
