Victor P Neubert, Jr.

Victor Paul Neubert Jr., known lovingly as Vic, was born on November 9, 1971, in Toledo, Ohio, and passed away peacefully on April 15, 2026, at the age of 54.

Vic was known for his loud, friendly energy and his ability to light up any room. He had a gift for making people laugh, whether through his quick wit, crazy jokes, or the many stories he loved to share from his life experiences. His front driveway was always open to anyone who wanted to stop by—whether it was for a beer, a good conversation, or simply to spend time together. He truly enjoyed the simple moments of connection and made everyone feel welcome.

Vic also had a deep love for sports. He was a dedicated fan of the Dallas Cowboys and the Cincinnati Reds, rarely missing a chance to watch a game. He took great pride in collecting sports memorabilia, especially trading cards—a hobby he loved sharing with his son and grandsons, creating lasting memories together.

Vic graduated from Macomber High School in 1990 and later attended Owens Community College, where he earned a degree in Nursing. He was dedicated to his patients as an RN, until he transferred to making sure patients are receiving the best care possible as a surveyor for the State of Ohio Health Department, above all, Vic loved spending time with his family. His favorite place to be, aside from home with his beloved wife Kay, was at their camper in Pirolli Park. While he wasn’t one to travel often, he always made it a priority to visit his son and grandchildren at their various military home locations, cherishing every moment spent together.

Vic is survived by his loving wife, Kay Neubert; his sons, Justin Neubert and his wife Cierra Neubert, Joshua Bylica, and Jason Bylica and his wife Caitlin; and his cherished grandchildren, Brody, Wesley Paul, Chloe, Presley Neubert, and Carter, Keiran, and Freya Bylica. He is also survived by his brothers, Jeff, Randy, and Brian Neubert. He was preceded in death by his parents, Victor Sr. and Marvel Neubert. 

A visitation will be held on Thursday, April 23, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM, with a memorial service at 7:00 PM at Reeb Funeral Home in Sylvania, Ohio.

Vic will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. His laughter, warmth, and love for his family will never be forgotten.
