Velma Ruth (Kramer) Hall

Beloved mother and grandmother, Velma Ruth Hall, surrounded by her family, left this world on Wednesday, August 25, 2021, at 3:10 pm.                                                                                                               

Born October 25, 1927,  in Toledo, OH, to Wallace and Ruth Kramer,   Velma attended Springfield schools. She worked for over 30 years at General Mills Corporation. She and her husband of 44 years enjoyed RV travel, camping and square dancing and were surrounded by their family for every special event and holiday. Velma was a member of Trinity Nazarene Church.                                                                              

Velma was preceded in death by her parents, as well as her husband Ralph on July10, 1991. On April 12, 2020, Velma’s youngest daughter, Beverly Jo “Jody” (Daryl) Richardson, passed unexpectedly following a brief illness. On July 12, 2020, her middle daughter, Bonnie (Gary) Kramer, passed following a long battle with Alzheimer’s.                                                                                                                                              

Velma is survived by her twin daughters, Karon (Pat) Lyons, and Sharon (Greg) Szkatulski, as well as her nine grandchildren, Lori (Marc) St. Amour, Todd (Pam) Linville, Betsy (Todd Myers) Duncan, Wendy (Russ) Rooker,  Timothy (Amy) Linville, James (Michelle) Richardson, James (Heather) Lyons, Brian (Jennifer) Szkatulski, and Aaron (Natalie) Richardson.  Additionally, Velma was blessed with 14 Great Grandchildren and one (1) great-great grandchild.                                                                                              

The family would like to give special thanks to the doctors, nurses, and aides from the 8th floor at Flower Hospital as well as those at Northwest Ohio Hospice for the amazing care and comfort that was given to our loved one prior to her passing.                                                                                                                   

The family will receive visitors at Reeb Funeral Home in Sylvania, Ohio on Sunday,  August 29, 2021, from  4 pm to 8 pm with funeral services scheduled at Reeb Funeral Home for Monday, August 30, 2021 at 10 am.
