Timothy M. Verral, 55, died unexpectedly at home on November 19, 2025, by just laying his head on his loving father’s shoulder.
Tim’s life was not perfect. Alcoholism is a nasty disease and Tim suffered with it for years. He lived in his family home in Lambertville, with both of his parents, until his mother, Sharon, passed away in January 2025. He remained there with his father, Dan, who was his partner in crime at the bowling alley and at numerous restaurants throughout southeast Michigan and northwest Ohio.
We choose to remember the good times with Tim. How he was the luckiest one of all of us, winning big at the horse track, with lottery tickets and seemingly every raffle he entered. How he’d get excited with the prospect of putting out holiday decorations … Halloween, Christmas, all the big ones.
In his better days Tim was a member of Zenobia Shrine and was most recently a part of the Patrol. Prior to patrol he joined his father in the Oriental Band. He was known to wear the inflatable camel at many a Shrine Circus and he loved to see the kids smile.
Tim loved all University of Michigan sports, but his favorites were football and hockey. He would stand and yell at the TV for the whole game. Go Blue! He also was a huge Detroit Lions fan and was thrilled with the last few seasons.
Tim was a kid at heart. He would still look at the packages under the tree to see if his name was on any of them. Still hated when he opened clothes, in fact we’ve found so many things with the tags still on that the nieces and nephews are set.
Tim will be remembered by his father Dan Verral, sisters Shelley Carr and Leslie Verral, brother Danny Verral and twin brother Stephen Verral (Susanne D’Isabel), as well as his beloved nieces and nephews Cassie, Ansley, Stephen, Hunter, and Gavin. He was preceeded in death by his mother Sharon L. Verral, grandparents Leslie and Helen Jaynes and Samuel and Charlene Verral.
Services for Tim will be held on Saturday, December 6, 2025. Visitation will be at Reeb Funeral Home, 5712 Main Street, Sylvania, OH, from 10:00 am – 11:00 am with family memories shared at 11:00 am. Burial will take place immediately following at Ottawa Hills Memorial Garden in Toledo, OH. Friends are invited to join the family at AJ Doolittle’s, 8525 Secor Road, Lambertville, MI for a celebration of Tim’s life after the burial.
