Timothy O'Hare
January 27, 1962 – June 12, 2025
Surrounded by loved ones, Timothy O'Hare, departed this world peacefully on June 12, 2025, at the age of 63. Born on January 27, 1962, in Alton, Illinois, to Regina “Jean” and James “Jim” O'Hare, Tim’s life was one of love, resilience, and family.
A proud graduate of Bowling Green State University, Tim’s loyalty and devotion to all things BGSU Falcons was unmatched and unwavering and ran as deep as his love for the St. Louis Cardinals and a delicious Mexican meal, no matter the time of day. Tim had a genuine passion to be in the kitchen that lead him to attending the Culinary Institute of Pittsburgh after college and spending much of his life in the food service industry.
Though Tim lived with a rare genetic kidney disease, he remained strong and resilient. He was truly blessed by the gift of life from organ donation; he and his family are forever grateful for those who made the selfless decision to donate, giving them all precious and irreplaceable time together.
He is survived by his daughter, Lauren (Lexi), his son, Trevor, his beloved grandson, Odin O'Hare, the mother of his children, Elizabeth “Beth” Raimy, siblings Kathy (Dave) Sanders, Mike (Lisa) O’Hare, and Maureen (Dave) Smith, along with his nephews, Chandler (Rachel) Smith, Ian O'Hare, niece, Erin O'Hare, aunt Susan Henne, and extended family and friends. He shared a special and devoted bond with his long-time girlfriend, Brittany DeCair, to whom he loved deeply and without fail.
Tim was preceded in death by his mother, Regina O'Hare, and his father, James (Shirley) O'Hare, his grandparents, Edward and Alberta Henne of Pennsylvania, James and Lenora O'Hare of New Jersey, along with uncles Michael O'Hare of West Virginia and Edward Henne of New Jersey.
Tim’s presence, laughter, and love will be deeply missed by all and his legacy will be carried out through those who knew and loved him.
We are eternally grateful for the special individuals who dedicated their time and love to care for Tim while he was a resident at St. Clare Commons in Perrysburg, Ohio.
