He was born in Richmond, Michigan on November 24, 1932 to parents David Snover and Theresa (Craft) Snover. During the Florida legislative session, he lobbied Florida elected officials in Tallahassee. He was also a member and past president of the St. Clair County Intermediate Board of Education, on the Port Huron Hospital Board, the Township recreation director, and a member of numerous boards and agencies in health care. He was also involved in the Boy Scouts and in Little League baseball. He continued to be active to the very end. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of New Port Richey, Aripeka Elks in Hudson, FL, SummerTree Friendship Club and the UAW Retiree Council. Thomas married Linda L.
