Theresa "Bresa" Heiss passed away peacefully at home on January 11, 2025. She was born in
Toledo, Ohio, to Obie and Grace (Herr) Roome.
Bresa was preceded in death by her beloved partner of 33 years, Pamela Rupp, and her sister,
LaDonna Mey. She is survived by her sister, Sherry Dulinsky; her brother, Robert (Carolyn)
Roome; her son, Karl (Tami) Heiss; and her daughter, Terri (Russ) Pool. She also leaves behind
11 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and special nieces, Amy (Jason) Trumbull and Kayleen
(Michael) Cunningham.
Bresa was a devoted Ohio State fan and an avid bowler who found joy in the camaraderie of the
lanes. Summers at Vineyard Lake in Brooklyn, Michigan, held a special place in her heart, where
she loved fishing, playing cards, and relaxing with friends.
Bresa dedicated her career to bookkeeping, working at Mark Klaus Clothing Store, United Home
Federal, and the Point Place and Heatherdowns License Bureaus. Her attention to detail and
warm personality left a lasting impression on her colleagues and customers alike.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 17, 2025, from 2:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Reeb Funeral
Home in Sylvania, Ohio. A memorial service will follow at 7:00 p.m., officiated by her grandson,
Pastor Jay Heiss.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests memorial contributions be made to Hospice of
Northwest Ohio.
Bresa’s memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved her and the many lives she touched.
