Susan Ames

Susan M. Ames, age 83, passed away Tuesday March 26, 2024, surrounded by her family. She was born to parents Henry S. and Dorothy M. Koester. Susan graduated from DeVilbiss High School and the Flower Hospital School of Nursing. She served as a Registered Nurse until retiring. She enjoyed and treasured the time spent at their cottage with family and friends. She is survived by her loving daughter, Laura (Darrin) Good, and their children, Kyle, Megan, and Lily; sister, Kathy (Arlen) Miller; brothers, Larry (Karen) and Alan Koester, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Gary, son, Andrew, and brother, Karl Koester.

Family and friends may gather at the Reeb Funeral Home, 5712 N. Main St. Sylvania, OH, Saturday, April 27, 2024, from 10:00 am, until the Memorial Service begins at 11:00 am. Pastor Brenda Peconge from the Grace Lutheran Church, Toledo, will officiate.
