Stephen Roy Karalfa

Stephen R. Karalfa, 83, of Toledo, OH, passed away Saturday, April 16, 2022. He was born in Johnstown, PA, September 8, 1938, to parents Louis and Dorothy (Stormer) Karalfa. Steve worked at Power Train as a Die Maker for more than 34 years, retiring in 1995. He was proud to have served with the United States Navy. Steve was a member of the Sylvania - Pyramid Lodge F&AM. He enjoyed cars, going to car shows, and wintering in Texas.

Steve is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Mary “Sue” (McLaren) Karalfa; daughters Suzette (Terry) Thebeau, Melodie (Tim) Grosteffon, Melissa Ware, and Heather (Mark) Wasylkowski; son Stephen (Lynda) Karalfa Jr.; 14 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; and sister Rebecca Drover; Steve was preceded in death by his parents and brother Jerry Karalfa.

Friends may gather at the Reeb Funeral Home, 5712 N. Main St. Sylvania, OH, Friday, May 6th from 10:00 AM. until the Funeral Ceremony begins at 2:00 PM.
