Stephan D. Leslie

Stephan D. “Steve” Leslie, 51, of Toledo, OH, passed away Sunday, April 18, 2021, at the Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Toledo, Inpatient Unit. He was born March 10, 1970, in Toledo, OH, to parents Dennis E. and Linda A. (Bailey) Leslie. He was employed with Mercy Health Partners where he served as the Mail Room Team Leader. Steve was proud to have served with the Coast Guard Reserve for many years. He had a strong faith and loved the Lord. Steve attended the Faith Bible Baptist Church. He was an avid genealogist, was fascinated with Presidential History, enjoyed 1960’s Rockabilly music, and Elvis!

Steve is survived by his loving wife and caregiver Julie (Kessinger) Leslie; parents; sister Diane (Chuck) Perry; nephews Jesse and Jamie Keel; mother and father-in-law Charles “Chuck” and Pam Kessinger; sister in laws Laura Troyer and Kristy (Dave) Paul; brother in laws Chuck (Jerilyn), John (Amy), and Peter Kessinger; a host of nieces and nephews; and his faithful K-9 friend, and companion Betsy.

Friends may call the Reeb Funeral Home, 5712 N. Main St. Sylvania, Thursday April 22nd from 4:00 – 8:00 PM, where Funeral Services will be held Friday, April 23rd at 11:00 AM. Steve will be laid to rest at Toledo Memorial Park. Those wishing to give memorials are asked to consider The American Cancer Society.
