Spencer Bayliss Griffin

Spencer B. Griffin, 64, of Toledo, Ohio, and a former resident of Richfield Township, died Tuesday, September 28, 2021, at the University of Toledo Medical Center. He was born in Toledo, November 28, 1956, to parents Samuel and Shirley (Newton) Griffin Sr. Spencer was employed as a diesel mechanic and installed drainage tiles in farm fields before retiring in 2019 due to health constraints.

He is survived by his sister Elizabeth C. Griffin; brothers John E, Jeremy A, and Sam S. Griffin. Spencer was preceded in death by his parents, and brothers George and William Robert Griffin.

Friends are invited to attend graveside services Saturday October 16th at 1:00 PM, at the Wolfinger Cemetery, Secor Park.

Those wishing to offer memorial in Spencer’s memory are asked to consider, in lieu of flowers, tributes to the American Cancer Society of the American Diabetes Association.
