Sharon L. Szkatulski (Hall), beloved wife, mother, grandmother and aunt passed away November 4, 2024, at home with her husband of 42 years, Gregory, by her side. She now rests peacefully with her parents and sisters who passed before her and she is free from bonds of Alzheimer's disease, which took her from us.
Sharon was born August 31, 1947, to Ralph James and Velma Ruth Hall. She attended Springfield High School in Holland, OH and obtained advance education at Davis Business College. She joined State Farm Insurance in Toledo, OH as a secretary and worked with State Farm for 30 years before retiring in Wesley Chapel, FL, where she passed. Sharon's care for her co-workers and her role resulted in numerous awards for process changes she developed.
Sharon enjoyed spending as much spare time as she could with friends and family. She was an avid bowler and loved to travel to the state tournament with her team. She enjoyed crafting and will always be remembered for her collection of dolls and Precious Moments figures, which she loved for their childlike beauty. She developed an interest in golf later in life, even scoring a hole in one. After their move to Tampa, she loved the Tampa Bay Lightning and attending their games. But what will always be cherished is her love of little ones, especially her grandchildren Keli, Tyler, Alex and Jaxon and her great-granddaughter, Callie.
Sharon was preceded in death by her mother and father, sisters, Karon, Bonnie and Beverly Jo. She is survived by her loving husband; sons, Timothy (Amy) Linville, Todd Linville and Brian (Jennifer) Szkatulski; grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
We will celebrate at Reeb Funeral Home on Thursday, December 12, 2024 at 12 pm with an hour visitation starting at 11 am.
