Sharee Youssef, 69, of Sylvania, Ohio, peacefully passed away on June 3rd, 2026, at her home surrounded by her children and grandchildren.
Born on May 6, 1957, in Decatur, Illinois, Sharee was the daughter of Eddie and Helen Youssef. She grew up in Sylvania on Elden Drive with her parents, 4 sisters and 2 brothers, in a home filled with laughter, energy, and a little bit of chaos that she always cherished. She attended Sylvania High School. Sharee thrived as a distributor for World’s Finest Chocolate, where she loved doing her fundraising kickoffs. She later founded Guardian Angels Home Health Care with her daughter, Lami, in 2005, where she found great purpose in helping others and took pride in building and working alongside her daughter.
She deeply loved her family and was a proud Youssef sibling. She found immense joy in her children, Lami and Tyler, cherished time traveling with friends and family - including cruising with her son Tyler to Alaska and, most recently, Mexico with her Youssef family - and loved simple, happy moments spent swimming with her children, son-in-law, and grandchildren. She also loved opening her home to others, hosting gatherings and celebrations, and truly embodied a “the more, the merrier” spirit. She will be remembered for her positive attitude, sunny disposition, and generous spirit. A true animal lover, she had a special place in her heart for her Golden Retrievers. She also loved spending time playing pickleball with her friends and sisters.
Sharee is survived by her children, Lami Azizi (Ahmad) and Tyler Powlesland; her grandchildren, Jack and Ali; her sisters, Lami Coyle (Mike), Diane Forrester (Jim), and Lori Smith (Doug); and her brothers, Gary Youssef (Julie) and Rick Youssef, along with many dear friends. She shared a special bond with her many nieces and nephews, who meant so much to her. She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Eddie and Helen Youssef; her sister, Nancy Youssef; and her cherished granddaughter, Lila Azizi.
“Think good thoughts and good things will happen.” -Sharee Youssef
