Scott Leigh Schneider

Scott L. Schneider of Woodville, Ohio passed away Tuesday, July 19, 2022, at his home. Scott was born September 29, 1950, to Carlton D and Esther (Samsen) Schneider of Sylvania. He was a graduate of Sylvania High School and the University of Toledo. He married Kathleen Meyer, October 22, 1977, and had two daughters, Lisa and Julie. 

He was a man who loved Jesus, his Savior and was a member of Grace Community Church, Fremont, OH. Scott was a proud Veteran of the U.S. Army, Army Reserves and Ohio National Guard, he belonged to Woodville Legion Post 455. He was also a member of the Woodville Volunteer Fire Department, and in the past enjoyed working with the Woodville 4th of July, Inc.

Scott is survived by his loving wife: Kathy, daughters: Lisa (Brent) Gamble, Weaverville, NC., and Julie Schneider, Woodville, grandchildren: Cora and Thomas Gamble.

Scott’s faith will be celebrated, Friday, August 12, 2022 at Grace Community Church, 900 Smith Rd., Fremont, OH at 10:00 A.M.  Interment will be at 1:30pm with Military Honors at Woodville Westwood Cemetery following the service.

The family would like to thank Pastor Forrest Kirchenbauer for the love he showed us during Scott’s illness. Thanks also to Audrey, our Ebeid Hospice nurse who treated us like family, and to Reeb Funeral Home, Sylvania.
