Sandra Ruth (Harkless) Wilkerson

Sandra R. Wilkerson, 79, a long-time Ottawa Lake resident passed away Sunday, May 12, 2024. She was born May 15, 1944, in Cleveland, OH, to parents John and Ruth (Lewis) Harkless. Sandy served as the head cook for Whiteford Agricultural Schools for more than 33 years and was also employed with the Target Store on Monroe St. since it was constructed.

She is survived by her daughter Tina (Bill) Calhoun; sons Benny Jr. and Scott (Wendy) Wilkerson; grandchildren Dylan (Jill) Wilkerson and Devon (Duke) Clevenger; great grandchildren Averie, Spencer, and Quinn; brother Bob (Vickie) Harkless; and beloved dog Timber. Sandy was preceded in death by her parents; loving husband Benny W. Wilkerson; sister Judy Harkless; and brothers Jim and Tom Harkless.

Friends may call at the Reeb Funeral Home, 5712 N. Main St. Sylvania, OH, Sunday, May 19, 2024, from 3:00pm until 8:00pm. The Funeral Ceremony will be conducted at St. Michael Lutheran Church, Ottawa Lake, MI, Monday, May 20, 2024, at 11:00am, where friends and family may gather one hour prior.
