Rosemary Ruth Wolf (nee La Point), age 80, of Toledo, Ohio died peacefully at her home on March 1, 2024. She was born December 8,1943 to Rudolph and Mildred La Point and was one of 14 children. She was a graduate of Central Catholic High School in 1961. Rosemary married her high school sweetheart, James P. Wolf, on October 12, 1963. Everything Rose did she liked to do her best. She was a talented seamstress, bowler, cook and business owner. She owned a wall papering business, The Wall Nuts, and a flea market store. She was also known to be an expert at finding a deal and pinching a penny. She and her brother Mike loved to compete about who got the best deal. If someone told her something couldn’t be done, she set out to prove them wrong. Rose was always serving the community. She was president of the PTA, room mom, organized food for funeral lunches at her church and took in anyone who was lonely and hurting to heal their hearts. Rose’s love language was food. Visitors were treated to feasts that included all your favorite dishes and a plethora of homemade desserts. Rose’s family was her most important asset. The quintessential mama bear with her cubs, she loved and protected fiercely. While she gave birth to 6 children, many more called her mom. She regularly celebrated the accomplishments of her kids, grandkids, great grans, nieces and nephews. She loved her sports, and you could count on her to be your loudest and number 1 fan at your games. She never missed an important event. Rosemary is preceded in death by her loving husband of 43 years, her infant son James, and her siblings: Paul (Norma), Jean (Leatha), Martin “Pete” (Lucy), Rudolph (Bonnie), Jan “Mike” (Barb), Betty Foor, Marilyn (George) Marshal, Sr. Rebecca La Point, and Leanne (Roy) Campbell She is survived by her children: Connie (Todd) Wallace , Mark (Tonya), Tim (Irene) Ryan (Karen), and Craig; grandchildren: CJ (Erin) and Kaitlin (Andy) Wallace and Troy (Andrea), Keenan, Alex (Mallory), Montana, Jarred, Jeni, Karsyn, Kamryn, and Griffin Wolf; great grandchildren: Sirion, Xander, Blaine Wallace and Asher Wolf and her siblings: Karl (Cathy), Noreen (Jim), Nita (Gerry) and Bernard (Donna), sister-in-law Barb; God Children Roseanne (Steve) Singer, Jeff (Stacy) and Matt (Jamie) La Point.
