Rosemary Helaine Hill (Bischoff) passed away peacefully Saturday, March 1, 2025, in Ottawa Lake, Michigan. Born May 15, 1938, in the same community she called home throughout her life, Rosemary’s journey was one of dedication to family, faith, and hard work. Throughout her work career, Rosemary contributed her talents to several companies, including Toledo Scale, Mead Containers, and Mill Stream Development. Her strong work ethic and loyalty left a lasting impression on colleagues and friends alike. Rosemary’s greatest joy was found in the love of her family and her church. She shared a devoted marriage with her husband, William Hill, and together they built a life filled with memories. Their children Jeffrey Hill, Shelly (Dan) Hill Crawford and Greg (Rachel) Hill were a source of immense pride. Rosemary also delighted in her grandchildren: Joshua and Emily Hill, Aidan, Benjamin, and Elizabeth “Lizzie “ Crawford. Rosemary was a beloved sibling to Delores Thorn and Mark Bischoff. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lester and Julia Bischoff, as well as brothers Dennis, Phillip and Gordon Bischoff. Faith played an important role in Rosemary’s life as she was a dedicated member of St. Anthony Catholic Church. Her presence within the church community was deeply valued by many lifelong friends and family. Rosemary will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Her kind heart and warm smile touched the lives of everyone she met. She had an amazing sense of humor and loved to laugh. Her passing leaves a void in the lives of her family, friends, and community, but her legacy of kindness and love will continue to inspire and uplift those who were fortunate enough to know her. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during a visitation Sunday, March 9, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Reeb Funeral Home, located at 5712 Main Street in Sylvania, Ohio. A funeral mass will be held Monday, March 10, 2025, at 11:00 AM at St. Anthony Church, Temperance, Michigan (4605 St. Anthony Road). In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to St. Anthony Catholic Church in Rosemary’s memory. Online condolences to reebfuneralhome.com
