Ronald “Jake” Keller, 64, of Swanton, OH, passed away Wednesday, December 12, 2018. He was born in Toledo, OH, February 25, 1954, to parents Henry and Shirley (Marsh) Keller. Jake owned and operated the former Keller Excavating Co. for many years before becoming a forklift mechanic. He enjoyed boating and fishing on Lake Erie and always found time for a beer with his buddies. Jake was proud of the antique tractor he restored and could always be found tinkering in his garage.
He is survived by his life-long partner Beverly Nellett; daughters Rachel (Jim) Lammon, Amber (Scott) Goschey, and Shannyn Nellett; son Kevin (Amy) Keller; grandchildren Owen, Natalie, Kyle, and Genevieve; brother Don Keller; and sister Juli (Mike) Rodriguez. Jake was preceded in death by his parents; brothers Paul and Robert Keller; and James Archer; and step-father Robert Archer.
Friends may call at the Reeb Funeral Home, 5712 N. Main St. Sylvania, OH, Sunday, December 16th from 2PM until the Funeral Ceremony begins at 6 PM.
In lieu of flowers, those wishing to offer memorials in Jake’s memory are asked to consider St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
