Ronald Gene Cassada

Ronald Gene Cassada, 66, of Ottawa Lake, MI, passed away, Monday, September 27, 2021, at Flower Hospital. He was born July 1, 1955, in Toledo, to parents Douglas Gene and Joyce Marie (Jennings) Cassada. Ronald was employed as an electrician with First Energy for more than 33 years, until retiring in 2019. He  was a United States Army Veteran of Desert Storm.  Ronald was a proud member of the Ottawa Lake Fire Department Station 42 where he served as a First Responder and Fire Fighter for more than 22 years.

He is survived by his Father Douglas Cassada; loving wife, Karen K. (Smith) Cassada; daughter, Michaela (Josh Hollis) Cassada; son, Alexander Gene (Alexis) Cassada; grandson, Oscar Alexander Gene Cassada; sister, Karen Duncan; and brothers, Raymond and Robert Cassada. Ronald was preceded in death by his Mother Joyce Cassada.

Friends may call at the Reeb Funeral Home, 5712 N. Main St. Sylvania, OH, Wednesday, September 29th from 11:00 AM. until the Funeral Ceremony, officiated by Pastor Rick Deisler, begins at 1:00 PM. The Ottawa Lake Fire Department will conduct Last Alarm Services at 12:45 PM, at the Funeral Home. Ronald will be laid to rest at Whiteford Union Cemetery.
