Robert "Wolfy" Edward Warne Jr.

Robert “Wolfy” E. Warne Jr., age 65, unexpectedly passed away on Wednesday, January 31, 2024. He was born in Canton, Ohio to Patricia A. (Jackson) and Robert E. Warne Sr. He grew up in Arlington Heights, Illinois, where he played baseball for the Red Wings. He graduated from Sylvania Northview High School, then attended the University of Toledo where he joined the Alpha Sigma Phi fraternity. Wolfy enjoyed NASCAR, Penn State, and Chicago Bears football. Wolfy had the honor of being the Chicago Bears’ water boy, as well as their biggest fan. He loved golf and gathering at his favorite hang-out places, (Pat and Dandy’s and Fricker's) with his longtime friends. He worked for several years at the Lucas County Juvenile Detention Center as a restitution officer.

He is survived by his daughters, Payton and Mackenzie Warne, grandson Hudson Linenkugel, sisters, as well as several nieces and nephews.

A gathering for Wolfy will be held Saturday, February 17, 2024, at Reeb Funeral Home, Sylvania, from 1-3:00 P.M. A celebration of life following.
