Robert H. Fulton, 96, of Toledo, OH, passed away surrounded by family and friends on Wednesday, October 1, 2025, at home while under hospice care. Robert was born in Cincinnati, Ohio, January 27, 1929, to parents Albert and Martha (Hurst) Fulton.
Bob graduated from The Ohio State University with a degree in Pharmacy and was proud to have been a pitcher for the OSU Varsity Baseball Team. After graduation he served with the United States Army and was deployed to Korea for 2 years. He worked in a M*A*S*H Unit there and thoroughly enjoyed the television program M*A*S*H when it hit the airwaves in the 70’s. Robert earned a Master of Science in Pharmaceutical Sciences degree from the University of Toledo in 1979.
After returning from Korea, Bob worked as a pharmacist spending most of his career at what is now UTMC where he served as Director of Pharmacy. Bob earned a private pilot's license and shared ownership in a small plane for many years. He loved the game of golf and played well into his 95th year. Bob was a long-time, active member of the Boulevard Christian Church where he served as an Elder for many years.
He is survived by his daughters Jeanette Fulton-Arnsby (John) and Jennifer Fulton; grandchildren Samuel Arnsby (Margaret), Benjamin Arnsby, Leah Lombardi (Conner), Christina Styblo, Kimberly Styblo, dear friend Caroline Wolfe; and an army of friends that will miss his presence in their lives. Bob was preceded in death by his parents; his loving wife of more than 62 years Marilynn K. Fulton; brother James Fulton; and sister Marian Hatfield.
The family would like to thank everyone at the Hospice of Northwest Ohio for their loving care during the difficult time. Those wishing to offer memorials are asked to consider, in lieu of flowers, the Boulevard Christian Church, Hospice of Northwest Ohio, or the charity of their choice.
Funeral Services will be held at a later date.
