Robert, son of Rudy Bins and Martha Sullivan Bins Mersereau, and step-son of Marion Mersereau, passed away on December 14, 2020. Because of the pandemic, his memorial was delayed from December to a safer time. His family invites you to celebrate his life with a memorial service on Friday, July 23, 2021 at 10:30 am at Reeb Funeral home, 5712 N. Main Street, Sylvania. A luncheon will follow. His cremation burial will be private with surrounding family.
His wife, Barbara, children Keith Bins (Tracy), Georgia Moser (Rich, deceased), and Stan Link (Melanie Lowe), were the light of his life. He also held a great love for his grandchildren, Jessa, Lydia (Andrew), Halle, Carly and Wednesday. He adored his great-granddaughter, Jolene, and was happy to know he had a great-grandson, Wesley, on the way. His loving sister, Shirley Keyser, also survives.
Bob devoted his 38-year career to Toledo Edison as Instrumentation & Controls Engineer, helping build and maintain all Toledo Edison plants, including Davis-Besse Nuclear Power Station. His retirement days were very satisfying, traveling in all 50 States, Austria and Australia. His latest trip was a riverboat tour through Europe.
The first trip in 1971, however, was the best – honeymooning in Greece!
