Richard M. “Rick” Seawick, 70, of Toledo, OH, passed away, Tuesday, March 16, 2021. He was born November 6, 1950, in Toledo, OH, to parents Joseph and Irene (Duslak) Seawick. Rick attended the Nazareth Hall Military School from 1960 until graduating in 1964. He attended St. Francis High School from 1964 till 1965 and graduated from Springfield High Scholl in 1968. Rick owned and operated the K-Bell Trucking Company for 7 years, before joining UPS where he remained until health constraints forced him to retire. Rick was proud to have served with United States Army National Guard, A Company 612th Engineering Division from 1969 until 1975.
He enjoyed old cars, car shows, swap meets, and any type of motorsport racing. Rick was a proud member of the NRA and an avid gun collector. He was a long-time member of the Toledo Sylvania Elks Lodge #53, and an avid University of Michigan Fan.
Rick is survived by his wife Sandra L. (Kovach) Seawick; daughter Amy Seawick; stepdaughters Kristen Dennis and Carrie (Robert) Pigott; grandchildren Wade, Maxwell, and Evy; brother Robert “Bud” (Pam) Seawick. He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter Sarah Anne Seawick; sister Elaine Johnson; and brother Edward Seawick.
Friends may call at the Reeb Funeral Home, 5712 N. Main St. Sylvania, OH, Friday, March 19th from 11:00 AM. until the funeral ceremony begins at 1:00 PM, Father Dave Nuss will officiate. Rick will be laid to rest with Military Honors at Toledo Memorial Park.
