Richard Krahn, age 86, was born on July 21, 1941, in Adrian, Michigan, to George and Florence Krahn. A lifelong Ottawa Lake, Michigan resident, Richard devoted 23 years of his career to the
Monroe County Road Commission, where he worked diligently until his retirement in the early 1990s. Known for his strong work ethic and unwavering commitment to his community, Richard
cherished 63 wonderful years of marriage to his beloved wife, Betty. He found joy in working in his yard, crafting birdhouses, cheering on University of Michigan football games, and traveling to
Arizona to spend winters in the warmth. Above all, he treasured the time spent with his family and friends, who were a constant source of happiness throughout his life.
Richard is survived by his loving wife, Betty; his sister, MaryAnn Ries; his daughter, Laure Creque; his son, Brent Krahn; and his grandchildren, Ryan Creque, Eric Creque, Samuel Krahn,
