Raymond Charles Martin II

Raymond Charles Martin II, of Petersburg, Michigan, born September 21, 1954, went to be with the Lord July 30, 2025.  Charlie was preceded in death by his loving wife, Julie Martin.  He is survived by his mother Geneva Slagle, his sisters, Sandy Ogle, Cathy Pratt, and brother John Sisler, children, Jason Meek, Michael (Sarah) Martin, Sondra, Raymond and Shawn Martin, grandchildren Andrew, Joseph, Isaiah, Jacob, Elizabeth, Brandon, Justin, Michael Jr., Aiden, Shawn, Matthew, Karter, Maverick, Jayden, and Natalie, and great grandchildren, Thomas, Kryon, Ryker and Ashton.

A loving, devoted, and hardworking man is how Charlie will always be remembered by his family and friends.  Anyone who knew him knows that he would give his last dollar to help someone in need.  He loved to build, fix and create new things, so much so that started Charlie’s Home Improvement’s and Repairs and was very successful! With his outspoken, humorous personality and hard work.  Charlie acquired many new friends and colleagues through the years while building his business. He was very well known for the love he had for his family, his passion for country music, working on cars, boating, fishing and camping with his family or just working in general. He always loved to make money and was very dedicated to his family and work.  One of his favorite sayings that he loved to say often to his children was “Can’t never did anything, but watch CAN succeed”. He also liked to remind his children often that “tough times don’t last, but tough people do” and his life was living proof of that! He will be missed dearly by so many that carried tremendous love in their hearts for him.  The family appreciates all the love and support.  Family and friends may call at Reeb Funeral Home, Sylvania, Thursday August 7, 2025, from 4-8:00 P.M. with funeral services conducted at 7:00 P.M.
