Patricia "Patti" L. Clay

Patricia “Patti” L. Clay, age 70, of Sylvania Township, passed away February 3, 2025 after
fighting a courageous battle against cancer. She was born September 1, 1954, in Defiance, OH
to Bill and Janice (Hopkins) Patterson.
Throughout her career with ProMedica, she worked various positions, including serving as an
executive assistant for two presidents of Flower Hospital. Patti was a devoted wife, mother, and
grandmother who was profoundly selfless and loved taking care of others. She enjoyed
spending time with her family at Long Lake in Michigan.
Patti is survived by her husband, Tim Clay; brother, Jeff (Brenda) Patterson; son, Brad (Crystal)
Clay; and grandson, Nathan Clay. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Patti will be laid to rest privately at Toledo Memorial Park. Memorial donations may be made to
Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
