Patricia Ellen (Bryce) Raymond

Patricia “Patty” Ellen Raymond of Toledo went to be with the Lord on August 28th, 2024, at the age of 77 after battling cancer for over 2 years.  She was the daughter of Dr. James and Gertrude Bryce and was born at St. Josephs in Mt. Clemens, MI.  She grew up with her twin sister Judy in St. Claire Shores, MI.  She graduated from the University of Wisconsin with a degree in Political Science, earned her teaching certificate at Eastern Michigan University and taught 6th grade for the Britton School District in Britton, MI.                                                                                        

Patty was a lovely and gracious woman with a witty sense of humor.  She was a great listener and was always available and ready to help others when needed and called upon.  She enjoyed traveling and being adventurous.  She loved her acquired family as they loved her.  She shared her faith in the Lord willingly and was an active member of Community House Church since moving to Toledo in 2012.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                   

She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Tim Raymond, and her three children: Kurt (Christine) Raymond of Monroe, MI, Grant (Christine) Raymond of Avon Lake, OH, Rochelle (Randy) Umbel of Olmstead Falls, OH; and by her four grandchildren, Corin Umbel, Addisyn Umbel, Kathryn Raymond and Anthony Raymond; and her twin sister Judy (Terry) Mosher.

There will be a memorial service held Saturday, September 14, 2024, 11:00 A.M. at Community House Church, 3708 W. Laskey Rd., Toledo, OH 43623 (Corner of W. Laskey Rd and Harvest Lane).  Online condolences to reebfuneralhome.com
