Patricia Gale (Ballinger) Phelps

Patricia Gale Phelps, 61, of Toledo, OH, passed away Sunday, December 20, 2020.   
She was born February 3, 1959 in Holland, OH, to James S. and Joanne B. (Kaczmarek) Ballinger. Patricia married Thomas Daniel Phelps in 1978 and together raised two children and enjoyed thirty-seven years of marriage until his passing in 2011.                                               
Patricia had a green thumb and loved working in her flower and vegetable gardens along with watching her house plants flourish, enjoyed antique shopping, crocheting and crafts. She shared the last nine years with her loving partner, Steve Brummett. They enjoyed motorcycle rides, sharing meals with friends, and their love of nature. Patricia will always be remembered as a giving person who was there for her family and friends through laughter or tears.                  
Patricia is survived by her loving children, Crystal (Tim Walsh) Phelps and Daniel (Amanda) Phelps; grandchildren, Pepper and Warren Phelps; siblings, Gloria (Chip) Ballinger-Williams; Joseph (Lisa) Ballinger. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Thomas, and canine buddy, Marley.                                                                                                                                    
Friends may join the family at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park, 4210 West Central Ave., Toledo, OH, Tuesday December 29, 2020 at 11a.m. for graveside Funeral Services.                            
Reeb Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
