Patricia Mae (Ledyard) Ortman

Patricia M. Ortman, 81, of Sylvania, Ohio died on Wednesday, September 15, 2021 at ProMedica Ebeid Hospice. She was born on March 18, 1940 to Edward and Hazel (Lenix) Ledyard.                                                                                                                                                      

She was a graduate of Bedford High School. Patricia loved music and had a beautiful singing voice, sharing her talent with her family, and through church choirs and community singing groups. She was also an avid crafter, and enjoyed sewing and floral arrangements. Over the years, she worked for Waldenbooks, Avon, had her own cake decorating service and spent countless hours volunteering, including at Flower Hospital and Lake Park.                                         

Patricia was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother, and will be dearly missed by those who knew and loved her. She is survived by her loving spouse of sixty-five years, Randall I. Ortman; children, Deborah (Duane) Ackley, Kevin Ortman, Christopher (Lori) Ortman, Stephen Ortman, Lisa (Jerry) Zalewski, and Daryl (Leslie) Ortman; siblings, Norma Woodcock, Maria Sala, Suzanne (Bradley) Weirick, and Linda (George) Crews; twenty-one grandchildren; and nineteen great-grandchildren.                                                                                                                       

She was preceded in death by her parents, her son, Randall S. Ortman, and her siblings, Arletta Brahier, Rose Levis and Edward Ledyard.                                                                                          

Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 19 from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Reeb Funeral Home, 5712 Main Street, Sylvania, Ohio, 43560. Funeral services will be held on Monday, September 20, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Michael’s Lutheran Church, 5790 West Temperance Road, Ottawa Lake, Michigan, 49267 with interment to follow at Toledo Memorial Park Cemetery, 6382 Monroe Street, Sylvania, Ohio, 43560.  Online condolences to reebfuneralhome.com
