Parker James Moore

Parker Moore, age 23, passed away on January 30, 2026, following a major surgery. He was born in Sylvania, Ohio to Gary S. Moore and Lana C. Moore on June 21st, 2002. He had lived there all his life and had aspirations to travel to various US cities.

He had the mind of a builder, creating many works with LEGOs, 3D prints, and Valheim creations. He was also an avid gamer. He spent many of his hours playing video games with his online friends, such as: Minecraft, Team Fortress 2, Skyrim, and others. He enjoyed board games with family and had won many games at gatherings.

He applied his passion for creation towards his schoolwork as well. In high school, he joined the FIRST Robotics Competition (team 451; The Cat Attack) in which students work in a group to build a robot that competes in a challenge. This passion followed him through his life and led him to seek an engineering degree from the University of Toledo, graduating from the University of Toledo December 2023 with an associates. He also pursued a CAD Drafting certification which he completed in December 2025.

Having a great compassion for small animals, he TNR-ed and fed many of the stray cats around his neighborhood to help control the pet population. This compassion bled into his treatment of others; he had many friends around the world both in-person and online.

He is survived by his parents, Gary S Moore, Lana C Moore. His siblings: Lilyan C Smith-Moore, Gary S Moore Jr., Weston R Moore. And his pet cat, Kiwi, a Ragdoll.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Lois Russel, and his paternal grandparents, Stanley Moore and Betty Martin.

He was loved and will be missed by many more. His grandparents by marriage and birth, aunts and uncles, cousins, and friends far and wide. Including but not limited to his friends on Discord servers such as: “The Goosebox”, “The Kool Gamers Brigade”, and “Under the Trailer”.
