Norman Haefner Obituary

Norman C. Haefner, 96, of Toledo, OH, passed away Thursday, December 24, 2020, at the Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Toledo. He was born November 1, 1924, in Toledo, to parents Henry and Louise (Gerner) Haefner. Norm worked out of Local 18, where he had been a member since 1952.

He is survived by his loving wife of more than 71 years, Ruby (Friesner) Haefner; daughter Karen Haefner; son Barry (Lisa) Haefner; grandchildren Dawn Lewis, Ryan (Samantha) Haefner, Amanda (Mike) Sperry, and Mallory (Cody) Deleon; and great-grandchildren Maisie, Bentley, Cassidy, and Asher. Norm was preceded in death by his parents; sisters Alma Donelson, Bertha Haefner, and Elsie Haefner; and brothers Robert, Louis, and Henry Haefner.

Friends may call at the Reeb Funeral, 5712 N. Main St. Sylvania, OH. Friday, January 8, 2021 from 11:00 AM until the Funeral Ceremony begins at 1:00 PM. Norm will be laid to rest at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
