Nancy Lee (Whittecar) Hoover

Nancy L. Hoover, 76, of Holland, OH, passed away Thursday, August 24, 2023, at the Ebeid Hospice Residence, Sylvania. Nancy was born in Adrian, MI, October 31, 1946, to parents Noah and Frieda (Buehrer) Whittecar. She graduated from Lyons High School in 1964 and Owens Community College in 1993. Nancy was a Bookkeeper for most of her life. She retired in 2013 from St. Paul’s Episcopal Church after many years of service. Nancy enjoyed spending time with her family, playing bingo, Facebook Games, crafting with plastic canvas, and shopping with her sister Pam.

She loved her children and grandchildren more than they will ever know. Nancy is survived by her daughters Crystal (Shane) Garlick and April (Dennis) Anderson; grandchildren Andrew and Kayla Howard and Cody and Brooke Anderson; and sisters Pam Largent and Tina (Bryan) Whiteman; Nancy was preceded in death by her parents; and brother David Whittecar.

Friends may call at the Reeb Funeral Home, 5712 N. Main St. Sylvania, OH, Monday, August 28,  2023, from 4:00pm until the Funeral Ceremony begins at 7:00pm.
