Myrna Louise (Semler) Bush

Myrna L. Bush, the only child of Orrin E. and Zoe A. (Rupert) Semler, was born in a brick farmhouse in Arcadia, Ohio on May 13, 1937. She passed away on June 26, 2021 in Sylvania, Ohio while holding the hand of her husband of forty years, Ronald R. Bush. They were married in 1981. Myrna retired from the Human Resources Department of Libbey Inc. in 1998. Surviving are her husband; three daughters Julie (Wendell) Jacobson, Kathy (Rick) Clift, and Susan (Lee Evans) Jones; grandchildren Erin and Rachel Jacobson, Lindsay (Virender) Sharma, and Evan Jones; stepson John Bush; step-grandchildren Robert, Carolynn, Kathleen, Steven and Judy. Also great-grandson Kai and eight step-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and stepdaughter Connie Militano and stepson Charles Bush. Myrna’s lifelong passion was genealogy; she also enjoyed reading, sitting on her porch watching birds, visiting with family, and shared her husband’s interest in motorcycles and classic cars by taking extensive trips to events all over the country. She leaves behind many beloved cousins, friends, neighbors and a shy tuxedo cat named Sarah. Her loving family will miss her sweet laugh, generous heart, and kind spirit.                                                  Visitation will be held at Reeb Funeral Home, 5712 Main Street, Sylvania, Ohio, on Saturday, July 10, 2021. Friends and family will be welcomed beginning at 11:00 a.m., and the formal service will begin at 1:00 p.m. Burial at Toledo Memorial Park, Sylvania, Ohio.
