Michael "Mike" Joseph Garner

Michael “Mike” Joseph Garner, age 43 of Sylvania, passed away Monday, May 27, 2024. He was born on September 8, 1980, to Joseph Garner and Julia (Allison) Anderson.

Mike worked for J.O. Galloup Company, a branch of Kendall Electric, managing a location in Holland, OH and Ann Arbor, MI. He started his career at Famous Supply Company in the warehouse and worked his way up to Territory Manager before accepting a position at J.O. Galloup.

Mike will be remembered for his sense of humor, kind heart, and magnetic personality. He had a passion for music, sports, and cooking that he shared with his family.   

Mike is survived by Louise Karpinski and their two beautiful daughters, Emilia Noelle and Madeline “Maddie” Leone Garner; his parents, Joseph (Michele) Garner and Julia (Paul) Anderson; his siblings, Dakota (Sarah) Garner, Bryon (Laura) Grabski, Samuel (Megan) Grabski, Tesia (Chris) Wagar; his in-laws Robert (Peggy) Karpinski; his sisters-in-law Roselynn (Zach) Stieben, Dana (Robert) Gorzynski; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother; Erick Grabski.

Visitation will be held at Reeb Funeral Home, 5712 N. Main St. Sylvania, OH, Sunday, June 9, 2024, from 3:00 pm until 8:00 pm. The funeral will be at Reeb Funeral Home on Monday, June 10, 2024, at 11:00 am. Michael will be laid to rest at Ravine Cemetery.
