Mary Jo (Lochbihler) Scheiderer

Mary Jo Scheiderer (Lochbihler) went home to be with the Lord on November 7, 2022, with her boys by her side.  Mary Jo was born to Norman and Alberta Lochbihler (Webb) on February 23, 1934, she was raised in Sylvania but eventually moved to Toledo after she married Dale Scheiderer in 1961.  Together they had two boys they raised, E.J. and Jason.    

Mary Jo’s family owned Chandler Ace Hardware in Sylvania for many years. Mary Jo worked for Key Bank for 36 years before retiring on December 31, 1997. She also worked for the Lion Store for many years. After retiring Mary Jo loved spending her time with her sons and grandchildren spoiling all of them. She loved to knit and would also go to Sylvania Church of Christ to knit with her friends. Together they would knit for the church bazaar, baby hats for newborns to be donated.  For her family she would make her special Christmas stockings, wash cloths, hats, scarfs and baby blankets for all the new additions to the family. 

Mary Jo was a member of the Sylvania Church of Christ for 75 plus years.   

Left to cherish her memory are her sons, E.J. Scheiderer, Jason (Vicki) Scheiderer; and daughter-in-law, Jen Scheiderer. She has eight grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held at Reeb Funeral Home, Sylvania, Monday, November 14, 2022, from 4-8 P.M. with funeral services held Tuesday at 11:00 A.M. Interment to follow at Toledo Memorial Park. Donations to Ebied Hospice.  Online condolences to reebfuneralhome.com
