Mary J. Moore

Mary J. Moore, 83, beloved sister, aunt and friend, passed away on Tuesday, June 21, 2022. Mary, the second of twin daughters, was born on April 20, 1939 to William G. Moore (1905-1953) and Thelma Burson Moore (1905-1998). She graduated from Cambridge High School in 1957 and attended Kent State University before making her home in Gahanna, Ohio while building a 25- year career at Avis Rent A Car. Upon leaving Avis she moved, along with her mother, to Toledo, Ohio where she made her home for 34 years. During her retirement she played an active role in the life of her twin sister, Martha J. Tullis, and her family. She volunteered at Flower Hospital, and took daily walks with her dogs at Wildwood Preserve Metropark where she made many wonderful friends. Preceded in death by her parents, Mary is survived by her twin sister, Martha J. Tullis, brother, W. Gordon (Margaret) Moore II, nephews and nieces, David H. (Dawn) Tullis II, Wendy G. Tullis, Timothy T. (Nicole) Tullis, Valarie R.(Mike Sivak) Tullis, R. Douglas Moore, Amy Jo  (Paul) Brewer, and  7 great-nieces.  Friends may call at Reeb Funeral Home, 5712 N. Main Street, Sylvania, Ohio 43560, from 2:00-4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 28 a memorial service will be  held immediately following.
