Mary K. Beham

Mary K. Beham, 92, of Ottawa Lake, MI, passed away on August 6, 2022. Mary was the daughter of Frank and Mary Haselsberger of Toledo, OH. Mary graduated from Notre Dame Academy in 1948 and attended Stautzenberger Business college. On September 8, 1951, Walter A. Beham and Mary began their 71-year marriage and devotion to each other. He preceded her in death on July 22, 2022. Mary was employed for many years as an executive secretary for the Franklin Life Insurance Company. Prior to that, she worked at the Rivoli Theater and the American Floor Company in Toledo.

In the 1960s, Mary was a member of the Sylvania Garden Club and the St. Agnes Rosary Altar Society. She loved gardening, nature, her canine friends, camping, traveling, and most of all, her husband and family. Mary was a wonderful cook. Even at age 90, she still baked hundreds of Christmas cookies and hosted holiday gatherings.

Mary is survived by her daughter, Linda (Charles) Brown of Temperance, MI; her son, Walter (Linda) Beham of Lambertville, MI; grandson, Charles J. Brown of Temperance, MI; great grandchildren, Samantha, Allison, and Matthew Brown, all of Temperance, MI. Tiffany Brown and Kason Snyder also survive as well as nieces, nephews, and sister-in-law, Mary A. Beham.

A Memorial Mass for Mary and Walter will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, August 19, 2022 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 5373 Main Street in Sylvania, OH. The family will receive guests at the church one hour prior.
