Marvel Holmes Obituary

Marvel L. (Moore) Holmes, 92, of Sylvania Township, passed away in her home on Tuesday, July 26, 2022. Marvel was born on September 10, 1929 to Frank and Hazel (Turner) Moore. She married Glen R. Holmes on September 11, 1948 and together they raised 3 children.

Marvel was a woman of great faith and had been active in several churches – Riverside Baptist, Judson Baptist and Berkey Congregational. She was also involved with Church Women United. She volunteered for the Board of Elections for many years. Marvel also was a 4-H Advisor for many years.

Marvel is survived by her children, Glennis Przymierski, Rebecca (Kenneth) Pfeifer and Joseph (Jennifer Hill); 4 grandchildren; and 7 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son-in-law, Chester Przymierski; sister, Rosella Henderson and brother and sister-in-law, Dan Moore and Linda Moore.

A memorial graveside service will be held at Toledo Memorial Park at a later date.
