Marlin R. Pack, 82, a former Toledo, OH, resident and currently of Fort Collins, CO, passed away Monday, May 8, 2023, in Fort Collins. He was born to Silas and Cornelia (Petty) Pack on January 9, 1941.
Marlin served in the US Army from 1958 until 1961. He graduated from the University of Toledo in 1965, receiving his Design Engineering degree. Marlin worked as a design engineer at Owens Illinois, General Dynamics, and Ford Motor Company for 27 years, retiring in 2005. He also served as flight instructor for the 101st Airborne Division and National Flight Service. After retiring, Marlin moved to Fort Collins, CO, where he enjoyed golfing, fly fishing, hiking, and bike riding.
Marlin is survived by his sisters, Bonnie (Richard) Lemons and JoAnn (Jeff) Wheeler; brother, Cecil Wilson; many cousins, nieces, and nephews. He was preceded in death by parents; daughter, Denise Ann Panik; and brothers and sisters-in-laws, James (Opal) and George (Shirlene) Pack.
Friends may call at the Reeb Funeral Home, 5712 N. Main St., Sylvania, OH, Thursday, May 18, 2023, from 11:00 a.m. until the funeral service begins at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Toledo Memorial Park, with Military Honors. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations in Marlin’s name be made to the charity of their choice.
