Mark Wysocki (1963-2025) lost his courageous battle with cancer on April 29, 2025 surrounded by the love of his family and friends. Mark was an eternal optimist who never met a stranger. His contagious smile, zest for life, and unforgettable spirit brought warmth and joy to everyone he
encountered and his passing will be mourned deeply by everyone who knew and loved him. Mark’s memory will remain in the hearts of his family, friends, and all those who were honored enough to have had the privilege of knowing him.
Mark was born March 27 th , 1963 in Toledo, Ohio to Sara Ann Nichols (Wysocki). Mark had an unmatched love and respect for his mother, who raised her five children ensuring their needs were always met, even when it meant sacrificing her own.
Mark graduated from Whiteford High School in 1981 and was most notably known for his love of all sports. Mark went on to attend the University of Findlay, where he played football as a cornerback and wide receiver.
Marks love of sports and games, including the Tri-State Triathlon, brought countless memories and taught him valuable life lessons. Mark ultimately transferred to Lourdes University where he completed an Associate Degree in Environmental Science. Mark worked at Papa Joe’s
Saloon and Johns Manville before moving to the Dallas area in 2014 for employment with LAZ Parking Texas, as an Operations Manager.
Mark was preceded in death by his mother, Sara Ann Nichols (Wysocki), and is survived by the love of his life, wife, Joni Campey (Wysocki); his brothers David, Jim (Vicki), twin Brian (Karen); and his sister Anna Wlazlo (Tom Nonnenmacher); many nieces and nephews, extended family, and lifelong friends.
The family will receive guests on Monday, May 19 th from 5-8 p.m. at Reeb Funeral Home, 5712 Main Street, Sylvania, Ohio.
