Marion Frances Kasky

Marion Frances Kasky, formerly of Sylvania, Ohio, passed away on Friday, May 10, 2024, surrounded by family at The Meadows at Osborn Park.

Marion was born on August 18, 1925, in Cleveland, Ohio to Frank and Frances Novak. She married the love of her life, Leonard Kasky and they shared 59 years of marriage together, until his passing in 2008. She and Leonard were long-time Sylvania, Ohio residents.

Marion loved her family and her community. She was a longtime member of the Sylvania United Church of Christ and volunteered for many activities and committees. She also volunteered at the Franciscan Center and movie days at Northview High School. Marion had a passion for cooking and entertaining. She always hosted family holidays and get-togethers and was very involved in her children’s and grandchildren’s lives. She will be dearly missed by her family.

She was the loving mother of Lee Ann (Robert) Clarkson and Jon Kasky; cherished grandmother of Elizabeth (Jay), Sara (Doug), Ryan (Mindy), Steven (Alyssa), Erin (Alex), Lauren, and Andrea (Chris); great-grandchildren, Ben, Sophia, Harper, Theo, Alexandria, Margo, Claire and Emersyn as well as many dear nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard; son, David Kasky; sisters, Eleanor Luberger and Florence Barron; and brother, Ray Novak.

A visitation will be held at the Reeb Funeral Home, 5712 N. Main Street in Sylvania, OH on Thursday, May 16, 2024, from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM, when the service will begin.
