Marilyn Kay Vergot

Marilyn K. Vergot (Jannert), age 72, formerly of Eau Claire, MI, passed away Friday, June 10, 2022, peacefully under hospice care. She was born September 29,1949, in Benton Harbor, MI, to parents Edward and Evelyn Jannert. Marilyn was a 1967 graduate of Eau Claire High School. She moved to Sylvania, OH, in 2012 to be closer to her daughter. She enjoyed reading, watching her favorite TV shows, and spending time with family. She is survived by her daughter, Abby (Ryan) Sedlock; granddaughter, Elizabeth Sedlock; brother, Rod (Sherry) Jannert; and niece, Olivia Jannert. She is also survived by her best friend of 57 years, Sharon (Steve) Ward; and her ex-husband, Daniel P. Vergot, Jr., to whom she was married for over 21 years and always remained as family. She was preceded in death by both of her parents; and brother, Roger.  

Visitation will be held at the Reeb Funeral Home, Sylvania, OH on Tuesday, June 21, 2022, beginning at 11:00 a.m. until the funeral service begins at 1:00 p.m.
