Marguerite “Dolly” “Marge” Bowers

Marguerite “Dolly” “Marge” Bowers, 79, of Sylvania, OH, passed away Wednesday, May 31, 2023, at the Goerlich Center, Sylvania. She was born in Toledo, OH, July 7, 1943, to parents George F. and Eylan (Lane) Stengel.  Marguerite was employed at Walmart where she served as a cashier and supervisor. She looked forward to spending time with family and friends at the lake in Coldwater, MI. Marguerite enjoyed listening to country music, Elvis Presley, playing Bunco, and fishing.

She is survived by her sister Eylan “Snooky” Fisher; nieces Gayle Sharp and Marjorie Robinson; nephews Jim, Tom (Chris), Scott (Samantha), Kevin Fisher and Jonathan North; and a host of great nieces and nephews. Marguerite was preceded in death by her parents; loving husband of 56 years, Richard Bowers who passed in 2019; and sister Jackie Gillen.

Friends and family are invited to gather at the Reeb Funeral Home, 5712 N. Main St. Sylvania, OH, Wednesday, June 7, 2023, from 4:00pm until the Memorial Service begins at 7:00 pm.
