Lurleen June (Sisco) Koch Stahl

Lurleen J. Stahl, age 99, of Toledo passed away Friday, February 12, 2021 due to natural causes.  Lurleen was a loving wife, mother, mother-in-law, grandmother and great-grandmother who always enjoyed gatherings with her family, especially for holidays, something she missed immensely during the last year due to the Covid-19 pandemic.  She enjoyed attending local craft shows, doll shows and shopping in general, as evidenced by the collection of her treasures.  Lurleen loved to travel, especially to Hawaii and other various destinations.  She was active at the  Sylvania Senior Center and was an Eastern Star.      

Lurleen was preceded in death by her husbands, Donald C. Koch (1964) and John J. Stahl (2011), her parents, Arthur and Martha Sisco, brother, Arthur and half-sister, Vivian.  She is survived by children Gary (Georgia) Koch, Swanton, Ohio, Diane (Fred) Smith, Perrysburg, Ohio and Steven (Sherri) Koch, Toledo, Ohio, grandchildren, Laura (Jeff) Randall, Jason (Laura) Smith and Amanda (John) Eggenton, great-grandchildren, Carley, Sam, Eric, Lauren and Carson.                             

 The family would like to thank the nurses and caregivers, especially Michelle Hunter, at St. Clare Commons, Perrysburg, for their care of Lurleen.  Also, thanks and gratitude are given to Ohio Living Hospice, especially Angie for their care and compassion.                                                                                                                                                                                  Visitation will be held at Reeb Funeral Home, Sylvania, OH, Wednesday, February 17, 2021, 11:00 A.M. until the service begins at 1:00 P.M. with interment following at Toledo Memorial Park.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be given to National Multiple Sclerosis Society or Ohio Living Hospice.  Online condolences to reebfuneralhome.com     “When we lose someone we love, we must learn not to live without them, but to live with the love they left behind.”
