Lona Jane “Sue” Watts, 88, passed away peacefully, Sunday, December 31, 2023, at Orchard Villa in Oregon, Ohio. She was born February 7, 1935 in Toledo, Ohio to Harold and Dorothy (Cockerill) Miller. Lona married James in 1954 and together they raised three sons.
Lona graduated from Woodward High School and attended Bowling Green State University. She held various jobs in bookkeeping and interior design. Lona loved dogs. She bred, showed and judged several dog breeds nationally. One of her favorite activities was to buy and sell items at the consignment store. She was one of their best customers. Lona was a talented artist and created many paintings and drawings. She always loved to spend time with family and friends.
Lona is survived by her sons, Steven (Marcia), Gregory and Douglas (Nancy); grandchildren, Lauren Watts, Madison (Conner) Donnini, Cole, Kyle, Cooper and Kevin Watts. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and brother Richard Miller.
