Lisa Kay Pant

Lisa Kay Pant, 56, passed away peacefully, early Sunday afternoon October 25, 2020 after a long battle with heart complications. Preceded in death by her brother Gerald (Gerry) Pant and nephew Michael Serres-Pant; she is survived by her loving husband Chad McPherson, parents Lloyd and Barbara Pant, children Jacob (Samantha) and Shelbi Wielfaert, sisters Vickie (Gerald) Pant and Lana (Tom) Schlegel, her long awaited grandchild baby Arthur, and her dog Inky Dinky Doo. After graduating from Whiteford Agricultural High School in 1982, she began her journey of how she left her mark on this world through her passion as a cosmetologist and her love and hard work at C and L farm which she and her husband started together in 2001 in Ottawa Lake, Michigan. She was outspoken had a tender loving soul and enjoyed spending her free time camping and simply being with her family. She devoted her time as a caring daughter, wife, sister, mother and grandmother and she will be missed immensely as she was and always will be a significant part of her family’s lives.

Services will be held at Reeb Funeral Home in Sylvania, Ohio. The viewing will be on Thursday, October 29th from 4-9 p.m. and the service on Friday, October 30th at 11 a.m. She will be laid to rest at Whiteford Union Cemetery immediately following Fridays service. All who wish to attend are welcome, we just ask that everyone wear masks if possible. In lieu of flowers, her family is asking that you send donations to the Mucinous Ovarian Cancer Coalition. This foundation was created by Lisa’s family in honor of her dear cousin and friend Rhonda, who is battling a rare form of ovarian cancer. Any donations will assist their efforts in establishing dedicated research for this type of ovarian cancer.
